These programs focus on developing your understanding of community engaged teaching and scholarship with skill development in engaged pedagogies.
Houston Action Research Teams (HART)
Graduate students serve as advisors to the undergraduate student teams of HART. HARTs are interdisciplinary teams of four undergraduate students who conduct research to address pressing challenges of local government offices and community organizations. Graduate advisors gain experience in mentoring, teaching students, and learning how to manage long-term research projects with undergraduate students, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
CCL Graduate Fellows
Join a cohort of peers in exploring community-engaged learning in Higher Education and put your knowledge into practice through collaboration with CCL professional staff. (Applications and full program description early August 2023.)
Engaged Course Support
Graduate students will be trained to support faculty on community engaged learning. (More information forthcoming.)
