The Thomas J. Watson Fellowship is a one-year grant for purposeful, independent exploration and travel outside the United States, awarded to graduating seniors to enhance their capacity for resourcefulness, imagination, openness, and leadership and to foster their humane and effective participation in the world community.
The Zeff Fellowship is an internal fellowship provided through the generosity of Dr. Stephen Zeff, Keith Anderson Professor of Accounting at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. The Zeff fellowship provides $35,000 in funding to one of the four students nominated for the Watson Fellowship. The Zeff Fellowship announcement follows the Spring announcement of Watson Fellows in mid-March. No separate application process is necessary.
