Danika M. Brown is the Executive Director of the Center for Civic Leadership. Previously she has served as the Director for Engaged Scholarship and Learning and an Associate Professor of English at the University of Texas Pan American (now UTRGV). Danika earned her MA in English Literature from Arizona State University and Ph.D in English (Rhetoric and Composition) from the University of Arizona. Her scholarship is in the area of critical pedagogy, rhetoric and popular culture, and university-community partnerships.
