Rice Voting Locations

Rice Stadium will serve as a polling place for the 2020 elections.

Voting booths will be set up inside Gate One at the southwest corner of the stadium, not only for Election Day but also for early voting.

Early voting at the stadium begins at 7 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 13. On Oct. 23 and 24, the polling place will move to Reckling Park to accommodate the Owls' 2020 football season opener with Middle Tennessee. Voting booths will be located on the main concourse of Reckling Park only on those two days.

Polls open on Election Day at 7 AM and close at 7 PM.

Reckling Park Polling Location Schedule
Oct. 23-24 - 7 AM - 7 PM

Voters casting their ballots at Rice Stadium should park in either the south stadium lot (2200 University Blvd.) or the Greenbriar lots. Those coming to Reckling Park to cast their votes on Oct. 23 and 24 can use Gate 8 (2050 University Blvd., at Stockton St.) to access the parking lot. See the attached map: Rice Voting Locations Map

The Inner Loop Rice shuttles will be extended to have a stop very close to the polling location (7 AM - 7 PM on the weekdays, 1 PM - 4 PM on the weekends). Students who live on campus may find it convenient to use these shuttles, and students will also be allowed to bring their bikes into the polling location to keep them safe and secure.

Voters are strongly encouraged to adhere to Rice COVID-19 policies regarding face coverings and physical distancing while on campus.
