I'm Brendan, a senior from Martel! My first involvement with the CCL was through the Loewenstern Fellowship, where I worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina for ten weeks with an NGO called Fundacion Rita 40. The following academic year, I enrolled in LEAD 340, a course dedicated to learning and practicing philanthropy with the CCL's partner organizations. Through this course, I worked closely with Plant It Forward (PIF), a community organization dedicated to helping migrant farmers establish small businesses in Houston. I am also the recipient of the Goliard Travel Fellowship, so I will be traveling to Panama in December 2023 thanks to the CCL!
