CCL Volunteers

Volunteer during the spring semester and learn about critical service and the Houston community!

CCL Volunteers is an opportunity for students to spend a semester volunteering with a community organization in their area of interest, while learning about critical service.

The CCL arranges meaningful, semester long volunteer opportunities wherein students work with their matched organization weekly, attend CCL trainings, conduct research, and gain experience and insight into social issues facing the Houston community.

Students are expected to volunteer with their organization 2-3 hours per week throughout the spring semester. Additionally, cohorts will meet for one hour every other week for reflection and sessions on critical service, social issues, and civic research, led by a staff member in the CCL.

All community partner sites are either accessible by public transportation or transportation cost will be covered by the CCL.

Info session at Farnsworth Pavilion on Wednesday, January 9th at noon!

Learn more about the program, eat some lunch, and mingle with community partners.
